Terms & Conditions

Greetings from One Code Stream!  Your use of our services, which include but are not limited to web development, eCommerce solutions, UI/UX design, and graphic design, is governed by these Terms & Conditions.  By using One Code Stream, you accept the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Scope

Professional digital solutions from One Code Stream include:

  • Shopify and WordPress development
  • UI/UX design (Adobe XD, Figma)
  • Upkeep and optimization of websites
  • Services for graphic design

Each project has a well-defined scope, schedule, and deliverables that are discussed in a proposal or agreement prior to the project starting. Any requested changes or extra features that go beyond the predetermined parameters could result in extra expenses.

2. Terms of Payment

Using One Code Stream to start any project:

  • A 30% down payment is needed to guarantee your reservation.
  • After the project is finished and before handover, the remaining 70% must be paid.
  • Payments must be made through authorized means, such as platform escrow (if applicable), PayPal, Stripe, or bank transfer.

3. Policy for Revisions

Within the predetermined parameters of each project, we provide up to two complimentary rounds of modifications.  The cost of any further edits or changes to the scope will depend on the length and complexity of the work.

4. After-Delivery Assistance

After the project is finished, One Code Stream provides free after-sale support for 20 days. 

This comprises:

  • Fixing bugs
  • Technical support
  • Small changes

Support excludes:

  • Additional features
  • Problems relating to servers and hosting
  • Conflicts with third-party plugins or themes that are not connected to the original build

Packages for extended maintenance or support are offered upon request.

5. Timelines for Projects

Project timelines are established at the outset and rely on the client’s timely delivery of information and communication.  Deadlines may need to be changed if there are delays in customer responses or content submission.

6. Client Obligations

Customers are accountable for:

  • supplying all required files, pictures, and content
  • Making certain that all third-party publications have the appropriate licensing
  • Quickly answering questions and granting permissions

7. Intellectual Property & Ownership

After the last payment:

  • You will be given entire ownership and rights to the finished project.
  • Unless otherwise requested in writing, One Code Stream is free to use the project in our marketing materials and portfolio.

Unless specifically stated in the agreement, we do not transfer licenses for paid plugins, themes, or third-party content.

8. Policy for Refunds and Cancellations

  • The 30% down payment cannot be refunded.
  • The work done up to that time will be paid if the client decides to cancel the project after it has started.
  • After the final project delivery, there are no refunds given.

9. Liability Restrictions

Additional One Code Stream is not responsible for:

  • Revenue or data loss as a result of website outages
  • Problems with servers and hosting
  • Failures with third-party plugins or themes

We provide maintenance services upon request and advise regular backups and updates.

10. Privacy

All client information, company data, and project specifics will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and won’t be disclosed to any other parties without permission.

11. Changes to the Terms

These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any moment by us.  Any significant modifications will be communicated to clients prior to their implementation.
